Supply Chain Manager

Job description :

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and certain facility-related functions.

The role plays a key part in optimizing operations and supporting the company’s continued growth and success.

Responsibilities :

Supply Chain Leadership

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure effective management of procurement, inventory, warehousing, and material flows.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Use business data and analytics to support decision-making.

Procurement and Supplier Management

  • Oversee all procurement activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and business terms.
  • Ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Participate in budget planning.
  • Promote disciplined cost management.

Inventory, Warehousing, and Logistics

  • Ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Optimize inventory levels.
  • Supervise receiving, shipping, and transportation activities.
  • Manage material flow efficiently.
  • Ensure warehouse organization.
  • Implement practices that support productivity, safety, and quality.

Facilities Management

  • Oversee general facility maintenance activities.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers.
  • Coordinate repair, improvement, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure a safe and functional work environment.

Team Management and Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop procurement, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
  • Establish priorities, objectives, and performance expectations.
  • Participate in employee recruitment, training, and development.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Candidate profile :
  • Significant supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and warehousing.
  • Experience in supplier management and negotiations.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business and negotiation acumen.
  • Results-driven and focused on continuous improvement.
