Job description :

GUEPE is seeking a Rental and Activity Attendant for its Pierrefonds nautical site. The role supports the organization’s mission by promoting access to outdoor activities, animating the site and providing high‑quality customer service in an outdoor, waterfront setting.

Specific Working Conditions:

  • Seasonal position
  • Employment period: June 13 to September 20, 2026
  • Paid training sessions starting May 23, 2026
  • Full‑time schedule from Wednesday to Sunday
  • Part‑time starting August 23 (Saturdays and Sundays only)
  • Schedule may vary based on operational needs and weather
  • Outdoor work at the Pierrefonds Nautical Site (Parc des Anciens‑Combattants)
  • Hourly wage starting at $16.65, based on experience and certifications
Responsibilities :
  • Welcome users and provide information about the site, activities and rentals
  • Advise clients on the use of watercraft and safety procedures
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of nautical activities
  • Patrol navigable areas by kayak and/or motorized boat
  • Animate the site with recreational and sporting activities
  • Manage the loan of sports and recreational equipment
  • Assist with maintenance, cleaning and repair of nautical equipment
  • Complete daily rental reports
Candidate profile :
  • Relevant experience in customer service, equipment rental, recreation or related field
  • Strong interest in outdoor activities
  • Kayaking or water sports knowledge/certifications (asset)
  • Ability to paddle a kayak over short to moderate distances in calm waters
  • Ability to safely lift and handle boats and equipment
  • Professionalism, commitment and teamwork skills
  • Strong awareness of safety standards
  • Ability to provide service in French; English is an asset
