Janitorial Attendant

Job description :

The Janitorial Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the company’s facilities. The position ensures that work areas remain clean, safe, and organized while following health, hygiene, and safety policies.

Specific Working Conditions

  • 40 hours per week
  • 5 days per week
  • Schedule determined by the department manager
  • Availability from Monday to Sunday
  • Hourly wage of $18.50
  • Position requires lifting weights up to 25 kg
Responsibilities :
  • Clean floors, windows, walls, doors, tables, lockers, counters, and sinks.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in outdoor containers.
  • Remove snow from entrance areas.
  • Collect garbage, paper, and debris from outdoor areas.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment and products are stored safely and in an orderly manner.
  • Maintain adequate cleaning product inventory.
  • Report inventory levels falling below established thresholds.
  • Complete a daily record of tasks performed.
  • Follow company health, hygiene, and safety policies.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.
