Job description :

Reporting to the Director of Business Development – Retail, the Inside Sales Specialist supports retail sales operations through strong project coordination, data analysis and customer management. Success in this role requires precision, organization and effective communication.

Specific Working Conditions:

  • Full‑time, on‑site position
  • Approximately 5% travel
  • Close collaboration with sales, marketing and replenishment teams
Responsibilities :
  • Extract and analyze shipment and POS data
  • Maintain large datasets related to inventory and store performance
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and escalate issues
  • Produce weekly reports on inventory, sales and KPIs
  • Work with replenishment teams to improve product availability
  • Handle retail customer requests (reports, samples, inquiries)
  • Maintain and update store databases
  • Prepare performance and sales analytics reports
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis
  • Coordinate retail project execution
  • Support sales teams with product and pricing information
  • Coordinate targeted retail marketing campaigns
  • Track departmental activities and deadlines
  • Validate volume rebate calculations
  • Resolve customer disputes professionally
  • Assist with customer communications and documentation
  • Support forecasting and performance tracking
Candidate profile :
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Detail‑oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends (preferred)
  • Fluency in French and English (required for Canada & U.S. communications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in a similar role within the electrical industry
