Job description :

Reporting to senior management, the Director of Finance and Accounting oversees all financial activities of the organization. This strategic role supports decision‑making, ensures financial integrity and contributes to overall business performance.

Responsibilities :

Lead and develop a team of 4 employees
Oversee the full accounting cycle
Prepare and analyze financial statements
Manage budgeting and financial tracking
Conduct profitability and cost analyses
Maintain strong internal controls
Oversee inventory processes and valuation
Work closely with operations
Manage external relationships (auditors, banks, tax authorities)
Contribute to strategic initiatives

Candidate profile :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience, including 5 in manufacturing
CPA designation (asset)
Advanced Excel skills
Strong ERP knowledge
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (strong asset)
Strong analytical and leadership skills
Fluent in French, English (asset)
