Job description :

As part of a maternity leave replacement, PME MTL is seeking a Digital Transformation Project Manager to ensure the continuity of a major digital transformation initiative aimed at designing and deploying a shared client platform across the PME MTL network to modernize the client experience and optimize internal operations.

The project is built on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integrated with various business applications to provide a secure, collaborative, and scalable solution.

The initiative is being deployed progressively across the network and includes business process automation, document generation, as well as electronic signature and artificial intelligence capabilities.

Reporting to the Executive Director of PME MTL West Island, the Digital Transformation Project Manager will ensure the continuity of the project by coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines, and supporting the deployment of its various phases.

The successful candidate will oversee project activities, monitor developments delivered by technology partners, support users and PME MTL hubs during rollout phases, and contribute to the functional governance of the platform to ensure the successful achievement of the network’s digital transformation objectives.

Responsibilities :

Project Management

  • Coordinate and monitor all activities related to the client platform implementation project.
  • Maintain project schedules, deliverables, priorities, and risk registers.
  • Prepare and facilitate project meetings with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
  • Follow up on decisions and action items resulting from project committees.

Vendor Coordination

  • Act as the primary contact for technology partners and vendors.
  • Monitor timelines, deliverables, and project issues.
  • Validate proposed solutions against business requirements.
  • Ensure development activities remain on track.

Stakeholder and User Support

  • Gather and document feedback, requirements, and improvement requests from users.
  • Ensure developments align with project specifications and business needs.
  • Contribute to training, onboarding, and user support initiatives.
  • Promote user adoption of new tools and business processes.

Development Oversight

  • Monitor developments related to the client portal and integrations with business platforms such as Salesforce, SharePoint, Margill, and others.
  • Participate in functional testing and deliverable validation.
  • Document issues, enhancement requests, and project decisions.
  • Follow up on corrective actions resulting from testing and validation activities.

Communication and Reporting

  • Present project status updates to management and governance committees.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the functional governance of the client platform.
Candidate profile :
  • Experience managing digital transformation projects.
  • Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to support organizational change and drive technology adoption.

Assets

  • Experience working on business platform implementation or systems integration projects.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, SharePoint, Margill, or similar business applications.
