Job description :

The Controller is responsible for managing the company’s overall financial and accounting operations while supporting the executive team with financial strategy and business decision‑making. This hands‑on role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic mid‑sized business environment.

Specific Working Conditions:

Full‑time permanent position
Primarily office‑based
Flexible and adaptable work arrangements
Close collaboration with operations, procurement and executive leadership

Responsibilities :

Oversee all finance and accounting functions
Manage payroll and financial administration
Handle corporate taxation matters
Prepare and maintain audit files
Coordinate with external auditors
Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
Monitor foreign exchange exposure
Support financing initiatives and negotiations
Prepare and review financial statements and consolidations
Manage budgets, cashflow and working capital
Monitor operating expenses
Support strategic planning and key business decisions

Candidate profile :

CPA designation
Experience in a small or medium‑sized business environment
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation and audit preparation
Strong financial and accounting expertise
Strategic mindset with operational awareness
Excellent communication skills in English and French
Leadership, initiative and autonomy
