Job description :

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Team Leader is primarily responsible for managing a team according to project requirements at the company's Lachine facility.

The role also involves participating in the assembly and installation of products while ensuring smooth daily operations.

Specific Working Conditions

  • Permanent position
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
Responsibilities :
  • Manage work schedules, absences, and overall team performance.
  • Provide technical support to team members.
  • Answer questions and assist in resolving complex issues.
  • Train new employees.
  • Promote ongoing training to develop team skills and versatility.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with team members and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in inventory management for project-related materials.
  • Read mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components of outdoor circuit breakers.
  • Install electrical and mechanical components of outdoor circuit breakers.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies.
Candidate profile :
  • Minimum of 2 years of team management experience in a manufacturing environment with 5 or more employees.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Manual and computer skills.
  • Proficiency in French.
  • Functional English.
  • Resourcefulness.
  • Proactive approach and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
