Job Description :

The objective of this position is to implement a strategic sales plan in an assigned territory to achieve defined sales and profitability targets. The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for growing business by building strong customer relationships, supporting distributor performance, identifying new opportunities and contributing to the long-term success of the territory.

Responsibilities :

  • Execute a comprehensive, pre-established business plan to achieve sales and growth objectives in the assigned territory.
  • Propose ideas and suggestions to improve overall sales strategy.
  • Prospect and acquire new customers while identifying growth opportunities with existing accounts.
  • Work strategically with distributors to support and boost sales performance.
  • Work in collaboration with technical and marketing teams to support effective sales initiatives.
  • Meet and exceed gross sales targets for assigned territory.
  • Apply specialized skills and industry knowledge to contribute to the company’s sales objectives.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activities, pipeline progress and achievements.
  • Participate in strategic internal sales meetings to assess progress against objectives.
  • Demonstrate sound technical knowledge of product ranges, market applications, implementation and maintenance.
  • Provide training to distributors and customers on the proper use of Bionetix products.
  • Ensure clear, professional communication within the sales team, with customers and between departments.
  • Comply with company safety policies and promote safe practices in all day-to-day activities.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a related field.
  • Three to five years’ sales experience in a B2B industrial environment.
  • Experience in developing sales budgets is an asset.
