Job Description :

Mobilia is looking for an On-Highway Furniture Repair Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Repair and Service, the Repair Technician is responsible for ensuring that only top-quality merchandise is delivered to our customers. He/she also provides courteous service to our customers in the Montreal region during repairs carried out directly in their homes.

Responsibilities :

• Assess the damage and determine the appropriate repair method for fabric and/or leather furniture.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on fabric and/or leather products.
• Repair various faults such as touch-ups on leather, mechanisms, racks, structures, electrical buttons and switches, etc.
• Offering professional, quality service for home repairs.
• Interact daily with customers, management and customer service agents.

Requirements:

• Master the characteristics and manufacture of fabric and/or leather furniture.
• Relevant experience as a furniture repair technician, particularly on fabric and/or leather furniture.
• Know how to safely install and use various repair equipment and hand tools.
• Work independently and punctually.
• Interact easily with customers and provide excellent service.
• Communicate clearly and manage time effectively.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate great attention to detail in all tasks performed.
