K'(Prime) offers services in the fields of chemistry, commercial security, scientific instrument sales and airport imaging services, including X-ray and millimeter-wave imaging. The company provides maintenance services for airport imaging equipment at all airports in Canada’s provinces and territories.
Job Description :
K'(Prime) is looking for hands-on, skilled candidates for the position of Imaging Services Technician. Ideal candidates will have solid amateur or professional experience in the physical repair of electronic (e.g. computers, toys, appliances) and/or mechanical (e.g. equipment, vehicles, machinery) objects. Following in-depth training provided by K'(Prime), successful candidates will use these skills to maintain and repair imaging security equipment at the airports we serve.
Profile required:
- Hands-on, manual experience in repairing or maintaining electronic and/or mechanical systems.
- Is available to travel elsewhere in Canada (e.g. Calgary, Mississauga, Ottawa) for professional training courses ranging from a few days to several weeks, particularly at the start of employment.
- Located close to Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, we can be on site in less than an hour in the event of an emergency (including 15 to 20 minutes for the secure access process), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
- Holds a valid driver’s license to transport equipment on site.
- Is available to work rotating and irregular shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, nights and weekends.
- Able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) after background check.
- Is willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time, sometimes on short notice, to remote airports in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada (by air or, occasionally, by car over long distances – up to 12 hours).
- Works independently or as part of a team, day or night.
- Has an adventurous spirit and is able to adapt to frequent short-term assignments in northern or remote regions of Canada.
- Holds a Secondary School Diploma (SSD) or a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS).
