Available 24/7, the organization provides crisis intervention services through telephone support, online chat, community outreach, short-term residential services, and post-crisis follow-up.

Job description :

The Human Relations Agent / Psychosocial Intervention Worker plays a critical role in supporting adults experiencing crisis situations. The successful candidate will provide direct psychosocial intervention and individualized support to help clients navigate challenging life circumstances.

Working within a collaborative and community-focused environment, you will assess needs, develop intervention plans, provide ongoing support, and contribute to clients’ recovery and empowerment.

Responsibilities :
  • Provide crisis intervention services by phone, online chat, and in person.
  • Assess client needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Support individuals in achieving greater autonomy and stability.
  • Assist clients in regaining control over their situation.
  • Conduct individual follow-up meetings.
  • Refer clients to appropriate community and healthcare resources.
  • Maintain accurate and complete client records.
  • Ensure client information remains up to date and confidential.
  • Participate in the daily activities and operation of the residential environment.
  • Contribute to the quality and continuity of client services.
Candidate profile :

Education

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in a field related to psychosocial intervention, social services, or human relations.

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of experience in direct intervention or helping professions.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken French and English.
  • Bilingualism is mandatory.
  • Strong interest in working with adults experiencing crisis situations.
  • Ability to establish meaningful helping relationships.
