Job Description :

The Smardt family is growing and we’re looking for an Electrical Assembler to join our Production team. You will play a key role in the installation and wiring of our electrical systems. You’ll be responsible for making panel assemblies and assembling components according to precise electrical diagrams. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Install electrical control and power panels;
  • Carry out panel mounting and internal/external wiring;
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams;
  • Examine and prepare components for assembly;
  • Lay out and wire electrical assemblies according to diagrams;
  • Handle cables from 2 AWG to 4/0 AWG DLO.

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary degree or related experience;
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in electrical assembly or a related field;
  • Experience in HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning);
  • Good understanding of electrical fundamentals;
  • Attention to detail and meticulousness;
  • Mechanical skills and manual dexterity;
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems;
  • Written and verbal communication skills (English and French);
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a dynamic environment;
  • Good reasoning skills and good judgment;
  • Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
