Job Description :
Under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Electrical Assembler will play a key role in the assembly of control panels for medium-voltage circuit breakers. Attention to detail, thoroughness and compliance with safety standards will be essential to guarantee the quality of our production.
Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret various electrical drawings, check the mechanical layout and select the equipment needed to assemble the panels.
- Wire panels according to electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Receive parts, check conformity with electrical drawings and report any errors or anomalies.
- Trim the wires and add the necessary labels.
- Install the components (contactors, relays, terminals, etc.) in the panels, following the assembly drawings and schematic diagrams.
- Perform point-to-point tests using a multimeter to ensure the functionality of the wiring.
- Inspect work and report any manufacturing, assembly or wiring defects to the supervisor or group leader.
Requirements:
- You have a DEP or DEC in electromechanics, electricity or related training.
- You know how to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- You have good judgment, a proactive attitude and are results-oriented.
- You’re able to manage several projects simultaneously and keep your priorities straight.
- Autonomous, rigorous and a good team player, you’re ready to contribute to our collective success.
