Job description

Under the supervision of management, the Communications and Technology Specialist is responsible for managing digital tools, communications and technological support. He/she ensures the consistency of the organization’s image and the smooth running of IT systems.

Responsibilities

Communications management :

  • Manage social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
  • Write and publish content (articles, newsletters, publications).
  • Manage monthly newsletter (content, layout, dispatch).
  • Update website and optimize search engine optimization (SEO, Google Ad Grants).
  • Assist in drafting projects and reporting documents.

Technology and IT support :

  • Basic maintenance of IT systems.
  • Support employees in solving IT problems.
  • Manage telephone system and printers.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers for complex technical requirements.

Marketing and branding :

  • Design visuals for digital and print campaigns (Canva, etc.).
  • Analyze social network and website statistics.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Profile required

  • Degree in communications, digital marketing or IT (or equivalent experience).
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent writing skills in French.
  • Mastery of social networks and knowledge of WordPress, SEO.
  • IT skills (Windows, Office 365, security).
  • Ability to create visuals (Canva or other).
  • Autonomy, creativity, organizational skills and versatility.

Working conditions

  • Timetable: 21 hours/week face-to-face.
  • Contract: 1 year with possibility of renewal.
  • Salary: $28/hour.
  • Advantage: Group RRSP with employer participation after 3 months.
