Job Description :

The CNC machinist will be called upon to manufacture parts from plans and technical drawings. The machinist will be called upon to program on the machine, do the setup and then operate a CNC machine (lathe and/or milling machine). All this while maintaining quality and safety norms and standards, as well as properly maintaining equipment and tools. We do a lot of fine-tuning on the machines, because we manufacture custom packaging machinery in small quantities. If you want to program manually on a machine, this is the place! You’ll learn a lot from our experienced machinists. We also have conventional machines if you’re interested!

Responsibilities :

  • Read and interpret technical drawings;
  • Produce parts on CNC machines (lathes and/or milling machines);
  • Master precision machining;
  • Make any necessary adjustments during production;
  • Maintain quality and safety standards;
  • Maintain equipment and tools.

Requirements:

  • A diploma in machining techniques, numerical control or other related professional training;
  • Several years of machining experience;
  • Knowledge of G language (G-code);
  • Ability to perform set-ups on Fanuc controls (an asset);
  • Team player / Ability to learn quickly / Open-minded / Attention to detail.
