Job description

We are looking for nursing assistants for part-time day positions, including every other weekend and additional shifts if desired. You’ll help provide personalized care to residents, monitoring their health and responding to emergencies, in accordance with professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to established procedures.
• Monitor residents’ files and health status.
• Create and maintain bonds of trust with residents, their families and caregivers.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and administrative procedures.
• Help create a stimulating and safe living environment.
• Contribute to accident prevention.

Profile required

• Member of the OIIAQ.
• Customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Residential experience (asset).
• Ability to remain calm in tense situations.
• Empathy and good listening skills.
• Fluency in French, English an asset (bilingual environment).
