Job description :

Vigi Santé is seeking an Assistant Head Nurse (ASI) to join its nursing team. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing staff while ensuring the health, well-being, and quality of life of residents. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, families, and caregivers to deliver exceptional care and services.

Responsibilities :
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the nursing team.
  • Ensure residents’ health, safety, and well-being.
  • Adapt care plans according to individual resident needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Foster positive relationships with families and caregivers.
  • Support continuous improvement of clinical practices.
  • Participate in risk management and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Promote a collaborative and compassionate work environment.
Candidate profile :
  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Nursing.
  • Active membership with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Leadership skills and autonomy.
  • Compassionate approach toward individuals experiencing loss of autonomy.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to quality care and service excellence.

Asset

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN).

  • Salary scale based on education:
    • DEC: $30.59 to $52.43 per hour
