Job Description :

As an aircraft cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling aircraft components and interior structures, in line with technical specifications and customer requirements. You will play a key role in the quality and finishing of parts, while ensuring the traceability of the materials used. You’ll be working with cutting-edge materials such as aluminum, fiberglass, veneer and hardwood, in a structured, dynamic and fast-growing environment.

This position is offered on a daytime schedule, Monday to Thursday from 5:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on Fridays from 5:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., allowing for a good work-life balance with extended weekends.

Responsibilities :

  • Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions and orders
  • Manufacture aircraft component sub-assemblies to specifications
  • Form, cut, deburr and assemble aluminum extrusions, laminates and hardwoods
  • Correct defects within established tolerances
  • Apply veneers, edgebands, laminates and trims
  • Assemble structures and install mechanical, electrical and plumbing components
  • Document materials used to ensure traceability
  • Safe handling of regulated materials
  • Participate in various related tasks according to production needs

Qualifications :

  • Training: DEP in cabinetmaking, aircraft manufacturing or equivalent (1650 hours / 18 months RTC, EMMM, etc.).
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years in production or assembly (aerospace sector an asset)
  • Technical knowledge: Reading of technical plans and ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Languages: Functional French required. English is an important asset for working in a bilingual environment.
