Aeronautical mechanical components technician

CASP Aerospace Inc. specializes in the repair, refurbishment, exchange and sale of aviation safety and survival equipment, including fire protection systems, oxygen cylinder assemblies, crew masks, and pneumatic and inflation equipment.

Job Description :

CASP Aerospace is looking for an experienced Technician to join our team specializing in the repair and refurbishment of oxygen, fire fighting and inflation equipment. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and refurbishment of oxygen masks, oxygen cylinder assemblies, fire extinguishers and related components.

Responsibilities :

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, refurbish, assemble, test and certify components.
  • Identify components and check applicable certifications.
  • Perform functional tests, diagnostics and final inspections.
  • Determine the level of maintenance required and the state of modification of parts.
  • Manage technical documentation and work orders.
  • Pack and prepare components for shipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the aerospace industry in a similar technical role
  • Safe work practices
  • Ability to identify and inspect technical components
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation
  • Test, inspection, assembly and certification skills
  • Mastery of hand tools, dynamometers, and pressure and flow instruments
  • Good written and oral comprehension of English
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment
  • Knowledge of high-pressure components (oxygen cylinders, fire extinguishers, oxygen masks, inflation cylinders)
  • Experience in hydrostatic testing
