Job Description :
We are looking for a multi-skilled Administrative Assistant to take on a variety of functions including administration, marketing and accounting.
Responsibilities :
- Communication with customers by e-mail and telephone;
- Sending out prepared quotations and following up prospects;
- Supplies purchasing and stock management;
- Arrange appointments for potential customers;
- Management of customer requests;
- Month-end accounting and banking recommendations (QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, Sage50);
- Updating electronic databases;
- Create, modify and lightly translate contracts and documents using Adobe InDesign.
Qualifications :
- 3 years’ relevant experience (preferred);
- DCS / DEC (preferred);
- Driving license (required);
- Bilingual French-English;
- Experience of Microsoft Office software;
- Accounting experience (bookkeeping);
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, in collaboration with other team members;
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines;
- Experience in graphic design and desktop publishing with InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, MS Publisher (an asset);
- Experience in Web and social media management (an asset);
- Experience in marketing and sales (an asset);
- Use of Mailchimp or management of similar databases (an asset).
