Production Supervisor

Job description :

The Production Supervisor oversees all shop‑floor operations, from raw material processing to final assembly. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands‑on leadership and a focus on efficiency, quality and safety.

Specific Working Conditions:

Full‑time position
Manufacturing floor environment
Direct supervision of production teams

Responsibilities :

Production coordination

Supervise daily operations across laser cutting, CNC bending, welding and assembly
Plan workflow and allocate staff to meet delivery deadlines
Troubleshoot production and equipment issues

Technical quality

Ensure accurate CNC press brake setups
Supervise MIG/TIG welding operations
Interpret engineering drawings and CAD/DXF files
Verify assembly quality and hardware installation

Safety & leadership

Enforce health and safety standards
Train and develop shop‑floor employees
Promote 5S and continuous improvement practices

Candidate profile :

3–5 years of experience in metal fabrication supervision or lead‑hand role
Experience with sheet metal fabrication and welding
Knowledge of CNC laser cutting and press brakes
Strong understanding of MIG and TIG welding
Proven leadership and organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines

Assets

Welding supervisor certification (CWB / AWS)
ERP / MRP systems experience
Lean Manufacturing training
