International Business Development Representative

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the International Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying, developing and managing distributor relationships across international markets. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, partner acquisition and revenue growth while ensuring long‑term account performance.

Specific Working Conditions:

  • Full‑time position
  • Base salary: $62,000/year + commission
  • International scope with occasional travel
  • Collaboration with global partners
Responsibilities :
  • Identify and onboard new distributors in targeted markets
  • Grow existing distributor accounts
  • Respond to inbound distributor inquiries and prospect new leads
  • Conduct market research
  • Work with trade representatives and international partners
  • Support distributors with training and sales tools
  • Coordinate with customer service and internal teams
  • Develop new distribution channels (B2B, online, telemarketing)
  • Manage private label initiatives
  • Support tender submissions
  • Represent the company at trade shows
Candidate profile :
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing
  • Medical device industry experience (preferred)
  • International market exposure
  • Experience building global distributor networks
  • Manufacturing and distribution model knowledge (asset)
  • University degree (business preferred)
  • Strong English communication skills (required)
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Authorized to work in Canada
