Job description :

GRAME is seeking a Communications and Community Engagement Officer to support its initiatives, including the Défi Fleuri program. The role focuses on planning and executing communication strategies, engaging communities and contributing to content creation across platforms.

Specific Working Conditions:

  • Full‑time contract (16 to 20 weeks)
  • Start date: late April / early May 2026
  • Salary: $20.00 to $24.37/hour
  • Hybrid work model (remote and office)
  • Collaborative and flexible environment
  • Offices located in Lachine and Montreal (South‑West)
Responsibilities :
  • Plan and implement communication strategies for the Défi Fleuri initiative
  • Engage local stakeholders and develop partnerships
  • Create content for social media platforms
  • Produce multimedia content (videos, graphics)
  • Support editorial calendar development
  • Write newsletters, blog posts and educational content
  • Animate social media during events
  • Support activities in Lachine and Sud‑Ouest eco‑districts
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety practices
Candidate profile :
  • Studies in communications or related field (completed or in progress)
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms
  • Skills in writing, graphic design and video editing
  • Excellent written French
  • Creativity, autonomy and initiative
  • Ability to work proactively
  • Strong interest in environmental issues
