Job description :

Reporting to the Greening Activities Coordinator, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for developing and scaling the Ensemble on verdit (EOV) program and supervising the Un Arbre pour mon Quartier (UAPMQ) program. The role involves full-cycle project management, partnership development and team supervision.

Specific Working Conditions:

  • Full‑time position (30 to 40 hours/week)
  • Start date: no later than June 2026
  • Salary: $27.45 to $34.31/hour
  • Hybrid work model (remote and office)
  • Office located in Lachine

Responsibilities :
  • Plan, coordinate and report on program activities
  • Manage budgets and contribute to financial planning
  • Develop and deploy the Ensemble on verdit program
  • Build and maintain municipal partnerships
  • Oversee development of tools (CRM, platforms, online store)
  • Coordinate activities with internal teams
  • Supervise and support project staff
  • Provide advisory services to partners and clients
  • Conduct outreach and develop new partnerships
  • Manage funding and ensure achievement of objectives
  • Support additional greening initiatives
Candidate profile :
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing budgets and funding applications
  • Team management experience
  • Autonomous, resourceful and proactive
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with digital tools (Google Suite, Excel)
  • Basic knowledge of urban forestry or biodiversity (asset)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
