Founded in 1993 and located in Pointe-Claire, Journeaux Assoc is an engineering firm specializing in complex and varied fields such as foundations, dams, bridges, seaports, excavations, groundwater, tunnels, underground transportation systems and permafrost.
With recognized expertise in the mining, energy, transportation, construction and environmental sectors, the company operates across Canada, as well as internationally (India, Africa, the Caribbean).
We offer consulting, design and engineering services, supported by a state-of-the-art in-house laboratory for geotechnical and environmental analyses, and quality control of materials (soils, concrete, ceramics, refractories, etc.).
Job Description :
We’re looking for a rigorous, organized administrative assistant who can effectively manage a variety of administrative tasks and support our day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the organization and maintenance of files and archives
- Monitor office supplies inventory and place necessary orders
- Compiling timesheets
- Prepare billing files
- Answering phone calls, taking messages or transferring calls to the right person
- Support the organization of business travel (reservations, event logistics, etc.).
Profile required:
- High school diploma required
- Good command of IT tools, in particular Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Additional training in administration or office automation is an asset
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar administrative position
- Knowledge of standard administrative procedures
- Organizational skills, autonomy, thoroughness and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
